Welcome to Second Chance Cat Rescue

Important Announcement - 22nd March 2018

Some people have been confusing us, Second Chance Cat Rescue at Keelby, with 4 Paws Veterinary Clinic in South Killingholme, who first traded as Second Chance Rescue when they located to this area a couple of years ago.

We would therefore like to point out that we at Second Chance Cat Rescue are not connected to or associated with 4 Paws Veterinary Clinic in any way. Nor have we ever used their services since we have on-going relationships with well established, reputable local veterinary practises.

Second Chance Cat Rescue is made up entirely of volunteers based in and around North Lincolnshire & North East Lincolnshire etc, with many years experience in the rescue, protection, and homing of both cats and kittens. We believe all cats and kittens that for one reason or another have lost their homes deserve a SECOND CHANCE to live a normal loving life with someone like YOU and it is our intention to give every cat or kitten we rescue this SECOND CHANCE.

All our volunteers spend many hours looking after these cats and kittens as well as fundraising in all weathers to ensure our fosterers have enough funds to cover the cost of:-

  • Food & litter
  • Shelter & Vet bills
  • Fleaing & Worming

The list is endless!

All our funds come from Donations and Fundraising. The donations come from members of the public who care about cats and kittens and the fundraising is done by our small but willing band of volunteers who get up at the crack of dawn to set up tables at car boot sales etc.

We attend many of the fundraising events that are advertised in our local newspaper the GRIMSBY TELEGRAPH and also set up tables inside and outside shops and stores that allow fundraising to take place on their premises.
